La valvola 6L31 della Tesla è un pento finale di BF, tensione di filamento 6,3 V, con 0,45 A, 250 V di placca e di griglia schermo, un negativo di griglia controllo di 12,5 V, una corrente anodica di 45÷47 mA, con una pendenza di 4,1 mA/V. Dimensioni: diametro bulbo 19 mm, altezza bulbo 60 mm, lunghezza pin 7 mm. E' identica, come uso e collegamenti, alla EL90.
