Description There were two distinct versions of the AWA33 tube. It was first made in 1924 and this tube had a nickel plated brass base imported from the MOV company in the UK. The later version (1926-7) used a black Bakelite base made by AWA. The circular AWA logo was stamped in the Bakelite bas between the base pins.
