Description

The first deviation by the de Forest company to make equivalent tubes to the RCA tyles, the D-01A was a direct equivalent of the UX 201A. It was fitted with the "isolantite" base ( a type of ceramic and was introduced in 1927. It was replaced by the D401A in 1928.
