There is also another but later Music Master Mfg.Co. in Chicago, known around 1938.

History:
Founded by Walter L. Eckhardt in April 1922 as "General Radio Corporation", changed the name to "Music Master Corporation" in February 1924. Went into receivership May 3rd,1926.
There is evidence that they imported tubes made in Germany by Loewe and marketed them with the Music Master Brand.

Walter L. Eckhardt, along with his two sons, then founded the Eckhardt Corporation later in 1926, but it also went out of business in 1928.

Walter L.Eckhardt a créé en avril 1922 la "General Radio Corporation" pour vendre des produits et accesoires radio.Son produit vedette était le "Music Master Horn".Il a changé le nom de sa compagnie en février 1924 pour devenir la "Music Master Corporation".A cette époque il pouvait vendre jusqu'à 2500 "horns" par jour.Pourtant il a fait  officiellement faillite le 3 mai 1926.
