Production of machine industry parts, radio mecahnical parts, surface threatment, radio kits and radios itself.

History:

Company was founded in 21th February and registered in 31th March 1926 in the pub by crafstmen and workers as Výrobní Družstvo Strojníků a Nástrojárů (Production Cooperative of Mechanicians and Toolmakers). Company provided repair end production of small butcher and bakery machinery devices, ball bearing and clocks for bikes, later production of  radio parts for company Titan. After Titan bankrupcy company obtained in 1937 license for radio model production, started in 1939 under trade mark Jiskra, since this time company was renamed to Jiskra, Výrobní Družstvo Strojníků a Nástrojárů. During WW2 Jiskra, in cooperation with other local radio comapnies (Telegrafia, Koten, Imperial)  produced for German military. After communist puch in 1948 a lot of small local bussiness were tranferred under Jiskra. In 1963-94 based on government decision radio manufacturing was transferred to Tesla Bratislava and in 1965 company went under Cyklos and closed as independent subject.
