Clare, Inc., formerly CP Clare Corporation, was founded in 1937 by Carl P. Clare to provide high-voltage switching technology to a growing telecommunications market. On year 1996 C.P. Clare reorganizes Belgian operations and announces creation of a new sales and marketing company, the C.P. Clare International NV, Tongeren, Belgium.
