Name: Commander Radio Tubes; (where?)    (USA)
Abbreviation: commandert
Products: Brand

Tube brand: Commander

Commander tubes were apparently made for Woolworths in the late 1920's and include at least the UX201A and UY224. The manufacturer of those tubes is currently unknown.

See also Viking and Pioneer tube brands, which have a similar/identical box design.

Commander Radio Tubes were advertised by Kresge's (S. S. Kresge stores) in 1933.

This manufacturer was suggested by Fin Stewart.
