History:

Cleartron Vacuum Tube made the Emerson Multivalve which was developed by Emerson Radval Corporation, New York. The tube was rarely used in manufactured sets and only about 1929 to 1931.

The firm of Cleartron Radio Ltd in the UK was a subsidiary of the US company and had its offices in 1 Charing Cross Rd, London SW1. The factory was at 21 Cumberland St Birmingham and operated from 1925 to 1927, making and assembling a number of tubes during these years.
