Emerson Radval Corporation, 25 West 43rd Street, New York City, NY - which should not be confused with the Emerson Radio & Phonograph Company - designed and marketed the "Emerson Multivalve", also called just "Multivalve" or "Three-in-one". The actual manufacturer was Cleartron Vacuum Tube Co., 28 West 44th Street - near the back door of Emerson Radval ...

In an ad in Radio News from March 1927 theEmerson Radval Corporation quoted from the "New York Herald Tribune" of December 19th 1926: "The new MULTI VALVE may well revolutionize the manufacture and use of Radio Apparatus." They also described the special tube at other places as "a seven-element tube with 201A filament, three plates and three grids."
