History:
In an ad in Radio News from March 1927 theEmerson Radval Corporation quoted from the "New York Herald Tribune" of December 19th 1926: "The new MULTI VALVE may well revolutionize the manufacture and use of Radio Apparatus." They also described the special tube at other places as "a seven-element tube with 201A filament, three plates and three grids."
