History:

The company was registered in Sydney in October 1939 with JA Paton and AV Stevens as First Directors. [2]

The company initially manufactured Wheatstone Bridges and valve testers. By 1946 they were supplying the PMG and ABC with telephone and broadcast transmission equipment such as amplifiers, distribution modules and patch panels. They also supplied complete wired racks of transmission equipment.

Electrical Equipment of Australia Ltd., bought all of the shares Transmission Products Pty. Ltd., in April 1955.
