Also produced: Amplifiers and loudspeakers for public adress, electric clocks, time recorders. From 1938, Magneta Time Co. Ltd. was a subsidiary of the British Vacuum Cleaner Co. (B.V.C.), Leatherhead. Name changed to Magneta (B.V.C.) Ltd.

Founded: 1891
History:
Founded in early 1890s producing master clocks driving slaved clocks. Later produced "time card" or "clock in/out" systems for factories.
From 1938 to 1970s produced Industrial and commercial PA Systems and Control clocks. Dual deck DJ consoles in 1960s.
In 1973 BVA was acquired by BSR.
