Charles Eckersley Forrest moved to Sydney in 1923 from New Zealand after establishing International Radio Co. Ltd. in Wellington and established International Radio Co. Ltd. Sydney. [1] In June 1931 Forrest registered Jensen (AUST.) Ltd. as a subsidiary company and commenced manufacturing Jensen speakers, it is assumed under license to Jensen USA.
