Colin Leason registered the name Diason on 23 May 1947. The original location of the factory was at 5 The Avenue, Balaclava, Melbourne. In 1952 they moved to 10 College St, Gardenvale, Melbourne. The name "Diason" was last registered in 1978. Colin Leason passed away in 1983 aged 69.
