Name: A-C Gilbert Co.; New Haven, Connecticut    (USA)
Abbreviation: acgilbert
Products: Model types
Summary:

A-C Gilbert Company who made the Erector toys tried to get into the radio craze of 1922. They had Tuska design a breadboard radio to market through their toy catalog. The set was sold unwired to get around any pesky patent problems. The radio apparently did not sell well as few examples exist today.

History:

This manufacturer was suggested by Alan Larsen.
