History: |
In a July 1922 The Radio Dealer magazine article about the company. Quote "The Profco Manufacturing Company of New York may be said to have started in the business years before there was such a business. To be explicit they were in on radio fifteen years ago.
This was the time when the members of the company served on the seas as wireless operators. Their names are W. J. Bear, EE President; H. Q. Horneij, Vice-President and Technical Engineer; and Samuel Schneider, Secretary. Backed by their long experience, they began the manufacture of commercial sets two years ago, so that even in this branch of radio they may be called pioneers. The product of such men is, in the natural course of events, a quality product.. Their experience has enabled them to add neatness in appearance, excellence in design and simplicity in operation as other qualities of their sets. |
This manufacturer was suggested by Alan Larsen.
