In middle of 30`s was established a Radio parts manufactory (Фабрика радиоизделий) for production of records. They had own studio for recording. Later they started production of electro record player too. During WW2 production was limited for small radio parts only. After WW2 plant was modernized and renamed to Leningrad N3 Radio parts Plant (Ленинградский «Завод №3 радиоизделий )and it had got a new logo. They focused on record players and wired receivers/loudspeakers. In 1956 it was renamed to Radio parts plant only (Завод радиоизделий) and again changed logo.

In 1960 it started a merger with Zhdanow Promkombinat (Ждановский Промкомбинат), renamed at that time to Plastic Devices Plant (Завод Пластмассовых Приборов)  Тhe merge was finished in 1965 by its tranfer to new buildings of Radio parts plant on address Kronverkskaya 17 (later  renumbered to 21.) At this time Radio parts plant was terminated. In 1973 company was renamed again to Plastpribor Plant (Пластприбор) only and changed logo again.

During 90;s company changed a few times of status to Public Limited Company, now on tis address are offices for rent.
