Servo's infrared detector shop has 9,500 square feet of space and fully dedicated equipment necessary for all thin film, ceramic thick film, and wet chemistry processing of infrared detection cells, fabrication, testing, and environmental screening of infrared systems and special optics. Specialized equipment includes six vacuum evaporator stations, two sputtering stations, electron beam equipment, leak detectors, humidity chambers, three environmental chambers, spectrophotometers, a full range of electro-optic test equipment, four multi-spindle polishing machines, optical grinder, sand blasters, lens generators, glass cutting saws, milling machine, dicing saw, wire bonders (ball and wedge), can welder, dozens of specialized microscopes and a JEOL Scanning Electron Microscope.
