Summary:

Thompson's Radio Ltd of 74 Oxford St, Sydney sold radios under the "Theatle" brand. Their radios were unusual in having a sound board/front panel recessed in the cabinet and mounted on rubber. This was claimed to improve the sound quality. Also, on the mains models, the cabinet had a row of lights along the top of the cabinet, illuminating the sound board and giving a "Theatre Effect".

It is not certain whether they manufactured their own chassis.

Production: 1933 -
