ORA (Oy Radioputki Ab) The Finnish Radio Tube Factory in Helsinki (ORA, Oy Radioputki Ab) was making tubes for the Army and civil receivers. Declared bankrupcy when big manufacturers offered tubes up to 80 % below retail prices to OEM radio manufacturers, and the new small Rimlock tubes flooded the market. Production facilities merged with Oy AIRAM Ab (lamp manufacturer) 1947. |
