History:

The company started in 1908 as an electrical importer and grew over time to a nationwide electrical distributor.[1]

The Neeco brand name was introduced in 1918 as a house brand name for their products, namely, water heaters, electric ranges, and electric motors. [2]

The company manufactured a large range of domestic electrical products over time, but the manufacture of radios was outsourced.

The company was taken over in 1966 by Cable Price Downer Ltd. [3]
