Alfons de Wachter (born in 1905 in Niel) started his company in 1934. Activities: construction, mechanics and electrical. Apart from the construction of radios he had a charging station for batteries, powered by a wind mill. After WW II the business focussed on the retail of radios from various brands. In 1964 he quit, but his son took over.

Alfons de Wachter died in 1975.
