CCE - Comércio de Componentes Eletrônicos - was founded in 1964 by Isaac Sverner. The company started as an importer of electronic components to supply the local industry. In 1971 they began to produce their own equipment and in the 1990s they reached sales leadership of audio products in Brazil. Their strategy was to work in a popular price range.

CCE became a major manufacturer of audio, video and personal computers, with factories in São Paulo, Manaus and Bahia.

For a certain period in the 1970s (the hi-fi decade) they produced a line of sets under license from Kenwood and sold them under the brand CCE-KENWOOD.

The business was acquired by the Chinese company Lenovo in 2012.

In 1996 CCE forms a partnership with the Japanese company Aiwa to represent it in Brazil. From that year onwards, the CCE factory in Manaus started to produce several Aiwa audio models that were well accepted by the young public and the Aiwa brand became well-known in the local market. In 2002, when Sony took over Aiwa worldwide, the partnership with CCE ended
