History:
A-C Electrical Manufacturing was founded in 1901. In the early 1920's the name A-C Dayton Co. came into use while the old name faded. There was no direct switchover, since several ads are known from 1924/26 where both names were used together. See Douglas, Manufacturers of the 1920's, vol.1, p.1-7.
