Does anyone know about the Astrid Radio company?  This is not a question about the Astrid model made by Greatz.

Hello Jay,

You posted this under German brands/companies, but I'm not certain that this manufacturer is actually German. It would help if you could post a view of the set, including a good picture of the dial scale so the country of origin can be identified.

That makes searching for information much easier.

Kind regards
Mark

These are pictures of two Astrid radios.  The picture quality is not good but this is all I have.

Jay,

The first image was taken by Flickr user Klaas05, it shows the radio exibited at the 20th Century Museum in Hoorn (Museum van de 20e eeuw). The dial of the 2nd radio is not very well readable, but it seems to use local names (eg. Köln instead of Cologne) but it also has a lot of French and Belgian stations.

I would say that this is most likely a Belgian brand, but I could not locate anything further.

I've sent an email to Radiomuseum Olen in Belgium, perhaps they can provide more information.

Mark
