History:

Founded by Mr. Kitao in the 1920s, Futaba was the initial owner of the National brand. In 1930/1931 they established a partnership with Matsushita to manufacture radios.

The brand was bought by Matsushita some time around 1925.

This manufacturer was suggested by Mark Hippenstiel.
