Some Austin radios were advertised as "British and fully guaranteed". [2]

The company advertised Austin brand radios from December 1935. Radios ranged from 4 to 8 valves, broadcast, dual and multi-band versions, and car radios.
They advertised for radio repairs and valve testing by Government Qualified Radio Engineers.[3]

Some Austin sets were advertised as British, and it is not clear if these were imported wholly or in parts or it was simply an advertising marketing ploy.

They sold amateur radio equipment as the South Island representatives for F.J.W. Fear & Co. [4]

In May 1952 they changed their address to 185 Manchester Street and advertising ceased soon after. [5]
