Company was found in 1918 in Moscow, on the beginning provided assembly of aircraft devices from imported parts. In 1922 company was renamed to Aviapribor -- Авиаприбор. Since 20´s production more and more focused on own design of electrical devices. In 1935 company was renamed to Sergo Ordjonikidze Aviapribor Plant. In 1941, company was evacuated from Moscow to city Engels, its prodcution took a big part in Soviet military aircraft electrical devices industry. In 1951 company was moved to Saratov. After collapse of Soviet Union company was transformed to stock company, it exists until today. |
