Manufacturers of loudspeakers (formerly Rola) & later imported Plessey branded Foster loudspeakers from Japan.

Founded: 1969
History:

In early 1965 a subsidiary of the UK Plessey group, Plessey Pacific, acquired  Rola Holdings and its two subsidiaries, Rola Company (Australia) Pty, Ltd., & Rola Co. (NZ), Ltd.

The Rola Company (Australia) Pty., Ltd., continued trading as a subsidiary of Plessey Pacific until 1969 when it became Plessey Rola Pty., Ltd. Plessey Rola continued to manufacture the Rola range of loudspeakers under the Plessey brand until 1974.

In 1974 with the cessation of local manufacturing and the closure of the Rola plant saw a merger with Plessey Rola & Plessey Ducon which became the components division of Plessey Australia Pty. Limited.

Plessey Australia imported Foster loudspeakers from Japan and marketed them in Australia under the Plessey brand.
