National Phonograph Co. Ltd (Australia) was incorporated on January 4, 1906.[1] It was succeeded by Thomas A. Edison, Ltd. (Australia) around 1912.[2] William Wright Wyper was Managing Director of both companies from 1906 till his death in 1932.[3] His son Robert registered R.B. Wyper Ltd. in July 1933 to take over Thomas A. Edison Ltd. [4] Wyper also registered Phonographs Ltd. in Western Australia in November 1921.
