History:

Cygnet radios were advertised in August 1933 as “Manufactured in West Australia for West Australian Conditions.”[1]

In August 1934 they advertised Paragon battery Radios.[2] By September 1934 they advertised the new De-Lux Paragon radios in their 1935 cabinets with Aerovision dials, Jensen Concert speakers and a cadmium plated chassis.[3]

On April 1, 1936, the company changed its trading name to Ronfred & Company and advertised as sales and service engineers for Cygnet, Paragon, and other Australian brands.[4]
