History:

On the beginning company produced coils, tube sockets, loudspeakers, radio cabinets, amplifiers, later in 1935 readio models under trade mark RET too.

After annexation by USSR in 1940 company was nationalized, on end of this year into RET was merged The Radio Division of Tartu Telephone Company, on beginning 1941 company ARE.

On beginning of WW2 company was evacuated to Leningrad. During Nazi occupation company went under Telefunken as Funktechnische Fabrik Reval.

After WW2 production was increased except high class electronics by military devices, voltmetres and ohmetres.

In 1992 Estonia became independent on USSR, company lost market and in 1993 went into bankruptcy.
