History:

In 1946 TEWEA was founded as a successor to Th. Waldthausen, the company expanding into the fabrication of antennas, measuring devices and other material.

A close cooperation with Philips' EMRA works lead to the company being acquired by Philips in 1964.

The production was moved to Leiden in 1968 under the name of Philips EDS (Elektronische Distributie Systemen), and the firm finally closed down in 1972.

This manufacturer was suggested by Mark Hippenstiel.
