Abbreviation: garford
Products: Model types
Summary:

The Garford Mfg. Co.
Elyria, OH (1918)

Makers of phonographs and accessories.

Closed: 1920
History:

In March 1919, the Otto Heinemann Phonograph Supply Co. acquired a controlling interest in the company. Garford had manufactured the Heineman motors for the previous 4 years under contract.

The company advertised their Garford models as General Phonograph Mfg. Co. (formerly named The Garford Mfg. Co.) from 1920 on, but apparently still existed as a division.

This manufacturer was suggested by Mark Hippenstiel.
