Name: Crescent Radio Mfg. Co.; Minneapolis, MN    (USA)
Brand:
Crescentyne
Abbreviation: crescen-ra
Products: Model types
Summary:

Crescent Radio Manufacturing Company
1026 Second Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota (1924-1931)

Trade name: Crescentyne

The owner of the company was Francis Cress. The Sept. 1933 tax roll from the Minneapolis Star newspaper mentions a Mr. J. M. Kuhn doing business as Crescent Radio Mfg. Co.

There is also a Crescent Radio Supply Co in New York that appears to have made resistors and other parts.

We list the Crescent tube brand in a separate entry; a relation between Crescent Radio Mfg. and this tube brand cannot be established at this time.

After the war a company called Crescent Industries does business in Chicago.

History:

In the August 1926, McGraw-Hill Radio Trade Catalog on page 211, the Crescent Radio Manufacturing Company was located at 1026 Second Ave in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Minneapolis City Directories list the company at this address in the 1924-1931 editions. We don't currently know if the company folded after 1931 or moved away.
