Trade Name: "Jewett"

The Jewett Phonograph Company was first incorporated in June of 1920 by Harry M. Jewett, Edward H. Jewett and Frederick L. Jewett capitalized at $250,000. Edward H. Jewett was President.

The company initially made phonographs but later started to manufacture radio phonographs. In late 1922 the company changed it's name to the Jewett Radio & Phonograph Company with plans to expand the production to build monthly 1,000 phonographs of all types, 100 radio-phonographs, 1,000 regenerative receivers and 1,000 radio-frequency sets.

Canadian Sales Offices: Walkerville, Ontario, Export Sales Offices: 116 Broad ST., New York City. This has been extracted from "The Radio Trade Directory" August 1925, page 143 - form an advertisement with "The Superspeaker Console" incl. picture.
