Although existing before (ad from Feb1923) the company was formed in Oct.1926 by Charles Louis Marti, a Swiss citizen who lived in the vicinity of Newark, New Jersey. The company was formed from the previous Martian Manufacturing Company and the Martian Electric Laboratories. By Sept.1929 reorganized after receivership to Marti Radio Corporation.
