Naylor Radio Corp.; - Trade name Sterling: We have been informed that there is a stock for Naylor Radio Corporation dated 1928. The corporate seal is 1925. Does anybody know more about this company? There is an US patent 1,684,973, filed September 12, 1925 as serial number 55939 for "Contact-Protecting means for vacuum tubes" by Sterling G. Sears, New York, Assignor, by Mesne Assignments, to Naylor Radio Corporation, of New York, NY, patented on Sept. 18, 1928. S.G. Sears filed also a patent in Nov. 20, 1926 for "Speed alarm control device" which was granted on March 12, 1929 as number 1,705, 031. There is a small notice in "The Westfield Leader, 1928" (a weekly newspaper) under title "Rotarians hear radio engineer": "Lieut. Sterling G. Sears of the Naylor Racio Corporation of New York City gave a most interesting lecture on "Television and its Aplication to Radio" before the members of the Rotary Club of Westfield at the regular dinner meeting held in the Elm Tree Inn, yesterday. The speaker stated that shis latest development of scientific research was still in the experimental stages but within a short time would be developed to such a degree that the public would benefit greatly."
