Canadian Brandes Ltd. traded under its own name in Great Britain in 1922.

In February 1924 they changed the name to Brandes Ltd. [1]

In February 1929 the company was renamed Kolster-Brandes because of a merger of the American parent company with Kolster Radio Corporation. [2]
