correct Name(s):
initially"The Federal Telegraph Company of California" changed its name to "Federal Brandes" after acquisition of Brandes 1922 (since there was another company called Federal making Radios: Federal T&T of Buffalo, no relation). Kolster was used already as Brand Name by Federal ("Kolster Radio, a Product of Federal-Brandes,Inc"). In 1928 this Company was renamed in "Kolster Radio Corporation of America". The combined Name Kolster-Brandes was not in use officially in USA, but in UK the British branch got that name in 1928.
