Start in 1927 as "Tula Radio shop". In 1929 named "Radiodetal works", in 1931 named "Tula Radio Works Nr.7 NKPiT", Later Oktava works.
First tube radio sets made in 1934 (model TESD-2; 1936: model T-35, 1937: model T-37). Manufacturer of microphones, telephone sets etc. But general production at all time was acoustic systems and different loudspeakers.
Works to go bankrupt in january 2006 (Start bankrupt procedure).
