John Logie Baird Ltd., 4 Upper Grosvenor St., London W1 (1947). Baird was called the inventor of mechanical TV in the 1920ies. In the late 1930ies and 1950ies his Company made also electronic TV sets. See also Scophony-Baird Ltd.

In September 1952 the company changes it's name from Scophony-Baird Ltd. to Baird Television Ltd. Amalgamated into the Hartley group of companies in 1954, where it was joined the following year by Ambassador.
