There are at least 3 different companies that had at some point in time the name Sanshin Electric:

1. Sanshin Electronics Co., Ltd. (previously Sanshin Electric Co., Ltd.); Tokyo
2. Sanshin Electric Corporation; Tokyo
3. Sanshin Electric Co., Ltd. (SAE); Sagamihara, later Fukushima

The models represented here seem to fit two distinct manufacturers: one for the marine equipment (Direction Finders) and another one for the small, late period tube radios.

There are however similarities: boxing for the FR-622B direction finder bears resemblance to that of the Baby Home Radios.

The third company SAE was founded at a later date (1972) and is listed as a separate entry.

Sanshin Electric Co. Ltd. manufactured the Pet brand of transistor radios in the 1950's.  A least one crystal detector model is known.
