History:
Zaklady radiowe TEKAFON: The Company was set up in 1932 in Lodz by Ch. Tone and A. Kielpinski. Location: 21 Kosciuszki Street and 102a Piotrkowska Street, Lodz (Lodz at present is the second town in Poland in population). At the beginning the factory produced the radio sub-assemblies, later moving on to the radio receivers and in 1937 the factory advertised themselves as the biggest manufacturer of radio receivers in the region. Employment: 70 workers and 3 office workers (on the base of investigations of Henryk Berezowski).
