The estimated sales of ERC in 1973 was approx. $15 million. ERC was purchased by the Japanese company Kanematsu-Gosho Ltd. (subsidiary: Kanematsu-Gosho USA, Inc. in NY) in 1974. Most of the products sold by ERC were from Pacific Sound Industry, a manufacturing joint ventury in Taiwan; from a recently acquired plant in Fukushima; and from plants in Hong Kong and South Korea. |
