"Krasin Radio Works" have been established in Moscow in 1928 primarily for manufacturing broadcast receivers and wired broadcast loudspeakers. Very soon the plant switched over to some other articles including ammunition and artillery shells produced in 1941-1945. In 1949 the plant was renamed to "Works No. 311" and after 1956 its main production has become semiconductors.
