Abschaltung des analogen UKW-Funks (Turning off VHF-FM)

The UK seems most advanced on such plans and they have back-tracked to say they won't turn off VHF-FM (UKW)  (they have no plans to turn off LW/MW AM) unless only a minority use it. In fact they bolster "Digital Radio" figures by not just counting DAB listening but counting DAB sets, DTT/Satellite Radio listening on TV platforms and "internet Radio".

There isn't even any viable alternative use for VHF-FM (UKW) and even on the UK plan (which is hardly a plan at all) Community radio would remain.

I think it's not too early to have a Pan-European campain to stop this nonssense which is politically driven by erroneous belief that there is money to be made selling of the spectrum. The spectrum is really no use to any other Application. I'm not against Digital Radio though DAB seems pointless. DRM+ can use 55MHz etc (Band I) and DABB+ or "DVB-T2 lite" the 250MHz Band III. There is no need to turn off Analogue VHF-FM (UKW) Band II.

Sadly in Ireland we are no good at lobbying as consumers and MW AM was all turned off to save Money.

Das Vereinigte Königreich scheint modernsten auf derartige Pläne, und sie haben wieder eingleisig zu sagen, sie lässt sich nicht ausschalten VHF-FM (UKW) (sie haben keine Pläne, auszuschalten LW / MW AM), es sei denn nur eine Minderheit sie verwenden. In der Tat sie zu stärken "Digital Radio" Zahlen, die nicht nur das Zählen DAB hören, aber das Zählen DAB-Sets, DTT / Satellite Radio hören auf TV-Plattformen und "Internet Radio".

Ich denke, es ist nicht zu früh für eine pan-europäische Kampagne zu diesem nonssense, die politisch von Irrglauben, dass es Geld mit dem Verkauf des Spektrums wird angetrieben stoppen. Das Spektrum ist wirklich nicht zu verwenden, um eine andere Anwendung. Ich bin nicht gegen Digital Radio DAB allerdings scheint sinnlos. DRM + kann 55MHz etc (Band I) und DABB + oder "DVB-T2 lite" die 250MHz-Band III. Es besteht keine Notwendigkeit zum Ausschalten analogen UKW-FM (UKW) Band II.

Leider in Irland sind wir nicht gut Lobbying als Verbraucher-und MW-AM war alles ausgeschaltet, um Geld zu sparen.
