Emerson 555 transistor radio and transistor numbering.

I have recently acquired a lovely little Emerson 555 pocket transistor radio from 1959 with lots of reverse painting on both the front and back. I am trying to find more information about it and the numbering system for the transistors. It would appear from a web search that several versions of the 555 were made, with either 4, 5, or 6 transistors. Mine has 5 transistors and these are numbered 312 E047, 312 E048 etc. I have found a reference saying that the 312 refers to Sylvania as the manufacturer but cannot find any transistors numbered E047, E048 etc. Does anyone know if these are Emerson part numbers or would anyone have a schematic for this model?
