The radio is quite sinilar as the criler. There is only one at the museum, wich is mine. The brand may be crisler, not criler, but Ernst Erb absolutely should know that better.

The cri(s?)ler has square IF transformers, yours have round ones, but that may be a matter of year of construction. Also the scale is quite similar without any brand name.

I hope that is a lead, but it seems that there are very few around.

Kind regards

Nico

Bonjour,

What is sure is that all inscriptions are in french: diall and loudspeaker. The loudspeaker brandt VEGA is common in France.

Having more info on tube set would allow to refine production year,

Hope this helps,

Today I discovered a similar looking device at eb- France wich at least lead us to the manufacturer. (121336771964) . The dial and the dial mechanics are different. (Propeller pointer vs linear pointer) The chassis layout and measures are different too. (longer with condenser pot in line of tubes)

The eb- radio is listed  here    as model E62.

On B&W Brochure Bottom left is K52 Lux on the E62 page. It looks very like the "unknown".

Except 3 knobs rather than 4. It has a page too K52, The L52 is also similar style as is J52 (on doctsf), but not exact same as only 3 knobs.

But scale and knobs is oddly similar to this Point Bleu W265. Has someone put a Point Bleu W265 into a AMO Case?

Gentlemen,  Thank you for all your help and input.

The Tube line-up is as follows:5 Valves(tubes)   AZ1, 6F6g, 6Q7g, 6K7g, 6TH8.

I changed the 6F6g to a 6V6g which performs well,

Thanks again,

regards,

John
