Does anyone know the value of the fixed capacitors inside the IF transformers? My example of this radio is suffering from "silver mica disease" and I'd like to replace. The values of those small capacitors are not called out on the schematic, but are present across coils L18 L19 L20 L21 L23 L25 L26.

Thank you.

Hallo Mr. Koebel,

I can not believe that these capacitors have become defective.
Please take a picture of the defective capacitors, then we will see more.

Regards WB.

Mr. Bauer,

Please accept my apology. You are correct. While investigating, it turns out the solder traces on the circuit board around the IF transformers were cracked and I was able to repair them. This fixed the problem. I spoke too soon jumping to silver-mica disease.

Sincerely,

J.W. Koebel
