How is this 12 tube model line advertised?
Here I quote some text from the catalog no. 53 for 1933, copyrighted 1932, probably out in Fall 1932 It is for the models L7, L8, L9 and L10:

"Pictured above is the cabinet of this combination. One of the most beautiful sliding door cabinets ever created, an artistic combination of rare hardwoods. The sliding doors are of center matched Butt walnut. Radio panel is of select straight grain American walnut, flanked by two pillars of matched Rotary walnut. The canopy has an inlay of curly African walnut over which is a genuine wood carving in Acantus.  Speaker opening is faced with a golden cover grille cloth, and directly beneath is a drop door which opens to the record compartment. Extra heavy top of 5 ply American Walnut Veneer covers phonograph and automatic record changer. Top is suspended on piano hinges, with automatic locking bracket. Sides of cabinet are unusually heavy to provide adequate baffle area for the receiver's tremendous volume. Four handsomely carved and turned legs with extra heavy stretchers. The workmanship throughout represents furniture craftsmanship of the most artistic type. ...

The Capehart Automatic Record Changer needs no introduction. It is the acknowledged leader. Equipped with new electrical transcription Pick-up. Plays 10 and 12 inch records, and is completely automatic. The last record repeats until restacked or when master switch is turned off. An encore may be had of any record simply by raising magazine to perpendicular position. By using the new "Victor 12" records you can listen to 4 hours of continuous music. Plays with a two speed motor, 33 1/3 and 78 RPM records.

This combination is also available, if desired, without the Capehart Automatic Record Changer. The Lafayette Dual Speed Electrical Pick-up is is scientifically developed to reproduce with absolute fidelity the intricate chromatic elements of the most difficult musical compositions. Many exclusive features, including rubber dampening."

L9 and L10 use a player only - with Two-Speed Motor.
